Guías Psicoeducativas para la atención de los adolescentes con Lupus Eritematoso Sistémico y sus familiares

Resumen
La investigación se realizó de febrero hasta diciembre del 2014, en el Hospital Pediátrico ¨J. L. Miranda¨, con el objetivo de caracterizar las necesidades psicoeducativas de los adolescentes con lupus eritematoso sistémico y sus familiares. Se utilizó un paradigma mixto con un enfoque
dominante cuantitativo, un diseño no experimental y un tipo de estudio descriptivo. Se tomó una muestra de 30 adolescentes con Lupus Eritematoso Sistémico (LES), aplicándose como pruebas psicológicas la entrevista psicológica, el inventario de problemas juveniles, el listado de cumplimiento de las orientaciones para el autocuidado de los pacientes con LES y el autorreporte
vivencial.
En los resultados se caracterizó a dicho adolescente con lupus, determinándose que sus necesidades en el momento del diagnóstico son de apoyo familiar pero posteriormente aparecen necesidades de mejorar su salud, de conocer más sobre lupus, sus cuidados y posibilidades laborales y de formar una familia. Los familiares necesitan de orientaciones para la educación de los adolescentes. Sus especialistas consideran que estos necesitan adquirir más conciencia de la enfermedad a intercambiar con otros pacientes con lupus. Los profesores guías expresan que necesitan más apoyo escolar. A partir de las necesidades diagnosticadas se diseñaron unas Guías Psicoeducativas para adolescentes con LES y familiares y se recomendaron continuar estudios
para su validación.
The investigation came true from February to December of the 2014, in the Pediatric Hospital ¨J. L. Miranda¨, with the objective of determining the psichoeducatives necessities of the adolescents with systemic lupus erythematosus and its relatives. The research mixed paradigm was used with a quantitative dominant focus, a not experimental design and a type of descriptive exploratory study. He/she took a sample of 30 adolescents with lupus, applying you like psychological tests the psychological interview, the inventory of juvenile problems, the listing of execution of the orientations for the selfbecarful of the patients with LES and the life experience self report. The results was psychologically characteristic for adolescent with lupus, being determined that their necessities in the moment of the diagnosis was the family support but later appear more necessities of improving their health, of knowing more about the lupus, their cares, and labor possibilities and of forming a family. The relatives need psychological attention for them and their children, specifically of orientations for the education of the adolescents. The specialists consider that they need to acquire more conscience of the illness and to exchange with other patients with lupus. The professor’s guides express that they need more school support. With these necessities was created a Guides Psychoeducatives for adolescents with lupus and them families and its recommended to continue studies with the application of the mentioned guides.
