Resumen
En el presente trabajo se realiza el estudio del potencial de Cuba para la
aplicación de los mecanismos de desarrollo limpio del protocolo de Kyoto en el
caso particular del comercio de emisiones. Se hace una breve introducción al
tema para profundizar en el mismo y ver su gran importancia para el desarrollo
del país .Se expone la metodología para el cálculo de las emisiones de metano
(CH4), como gas de efecto invernadero, que se emite a partir de los Residuos
Sólidos Urbanos (RSU). Además se realiza la estimación de los costos y
beneficios del proyecto. Se selecciona el equipo de generación de energía
eléctrica a poner en funcionamiento a partir del gas que se obtiene de los RSU
del país (Cuba).
In this research work, the study of Cuban’s potential to the appliance of the Clean Development Mechanism of the Protocol of Kyoto specially of the emissions trade, is done, It appears a short introduction to this theme to deepen on it and to know it’s importance to the development of our country. It exposes the methodology to the calculus of emissions of methane (CH4), as gas of the hothouse effect, that it is emitted from Solid Waste . Besides that, the estimation of the costs and benefits from the project are exposed. It has been selected equipment of the generation of the electric energy to work wing the gas that is obtained from the Solid Waste of Cuba.
