“Propuesta de una guía psicoeducativa que contribuya a la preparación de la familia para la realización de la orientación profesional vocacional de los adolescentes en la etapa de preuniversitario”

Resumen
La familia, y específicamente los padres y las madres, juegan un papel primordial en la tarea de orientar a sus hijos adolescentes para la elección profesional, sin embargo, resulta necesario brindar mayor atención a su preparación en este sentido. De acuerdo con lo anterior, el presente estudio se realiza con el objetivo de proponer una guía psicoeducativa que contribuya a la preparación de la familia para la realización de la orientación profesional vocacional de los adolescentes en la etapa de preuniversitario. Mediante la revisión bibliográfica se pudieron determinar los fundamentos teóricos que sustentan la importancia de la propuesta; y a partir de un estudio constatativo, con la aplicación de un cuestionario a una muestra de padres y madres de estudiantes de onceno grado en la provincia Sancti Spíritus, se diagnosticaron las principales necesidades de preparación de la familia en relación a la orientación profesional vocacional en esta etapa, las cuales también sustentaron su diseño y elaboración. La guía fue evaluada mediante el criterio de expertos según la metodología de comparación por pares, quedando validada como instrumento que contribuye a la preparación de la familia en cuanto a las características de la adolescencia como etapa del desarrollo, así como las más importantes vías para orientar a los hijos hacia una elección profesional responsable.
Parents, play primordial role in the task of orientation to their son and daughters teens for professional choosing. However, it is necessary to bring special attention in their training. Taking into account the previous ideas, this research is made with the goal to propose a psychology an educative guide for training family in the achievement of the professional and vocational orientation of teens in the stage of senior high school. By the bibliographical review foundations about the importance of the proposition were determined. Starting on an empirical research by the application of a survey to a sample of parents of the senior high school eleventh grade students of Sancti Spíritus main training needs dealing with professional and vocational orientation were diagnose. This result supported the design and elaboration of the proposed guide which was evaluated by the expert criteria method in the way of couple comparison. The result of this evaluation indicates the validity of the guide for improving level of knowledge of parents in respect of the adolescence features as stage of development, such as the most important ways for guiding kids in pursuit of a professional responsible choosing.
