Se exponen varias clasificaciones de las presas en general, se aborda sobre las fallas de presas en Cuba y el mundo, estableciéndose una descripción de losdiferentes tipos de fallos que se han presentado y sus causas. Se aborda la temática sobre la seguridad de presas de manera tradicional y con las nuevas tendencias que vinculan a esta con el riesgo. | dc.description.abstract | In the present investigation a study of the state of the art on the integral security of the earth dams is carried out. Several classifications of the dams are exposed in general, they are addressed on the failures of dams in Cuba and the world, establishing a description of the different types of failures that have been presented and their causes. The subject is dealt with on the security of traditional practices and the new trends that link this risk. Several methods for the evaluation of the integral safety of dams were studied and one of them was applied in the case of the Alacranes dam study. | en_US |
