dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tiene como objetivo fundamental determinar las diferencias afectivos motivacionales que puedan existir entre pacientes diabéticos descompensados y aquellos que mantienen un control de la enfermedad, partiendo de la idea de que tales diferencias están incidiendo en el grado en que unos y otros asumen su rol de enfermo. L Para el logro de este propósito se crearon dos grupos muestrales de diez personas con la ayuda experta del equipo médico, uno formado por pacientes con un control de la enfermedad de más de dos meses y un adecuado cumplimiento de su rol de enfermo (sujetos compensados), y otro que no logran control sobre la enfermedad y no asumen correctamente su rol de enfermo (sujetos descompensados). Se confeccionó una batería de pruebas psicológicas conformada por Análisis Psicológico de H.C, Escala Dembo - Rubenstein, Técnica de Composición, Entrevista y el RAMDIS que se le aplicó a ambos grupos. Los resultados obtenidos revelan marcadas diferencias afectivo motivacionales expresadas en la actitud ante la enfermedad, el nivel de regulación de los motivos y en los procesos autovalorativos de los enfermos, todo lo cual incide en sus posibilidades autorreguladora y en la posibilidad consecuente de asumir su rol de enfermo, tan necesario en el control de la diabetes. Por ultimo, se ofrecen conclusiones y recomendaciones que explican el valor científico de tener en cuenta las particularidades del proceso estudiado en el diagnostico y establecimiento de programas de intervención para atender a las necesidades de estas personas.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe fundamental objective of this investigation is to determine the affective motivational differences that could exist in uncontrolled diabetic patients and those that have maintained control of the illness, parting from the idea that these differences are influencing the way these persons assume the sick role. T For the achievement of this objective a sample comprised of two groups of ten persons were selected with the assistance of the medical team, one consisted of patients with control of the illness for more than two months and an adequate execution of their role as a sick person, and another comprised of diabetics who haven’t achieved control of the illness and don't assume the role of a sick person correctly. A battery of psychological tests was applied to both groups which included the Psychological Analysis of the Clinical History, Dembo - Rubinstein Scale, Composition technique, Interview and the RAMDI(S). The results obtained reveals significant affective motivational differences. These differences were expressed in the attitude towards the illness, the level of motivational regulation and in the self evaluation of the patients, all of which has influence in their self regulation and also in the assumption of the sick role which is very important for the control of the diabetes. Lastly, conclusions and recommendations are offered to explain the scientific value to keep in mind regarding the particularities of the process studied in the diagnosis and in the establishment of therapeutic intervention programs.en_US
