CBQ-VTC.
In Cuba the use of Modified CBQ-VTC is researched for its usage as plasticizer additive in the construction industry, in line with the requirements established in the NC 228-1: 2005. This work aims defining the behavior in the rheological properties of the Modified CBQ-VTC I elaborated pastes from the Ordinary Portland cement. To reach this objective it’s gathered the information about the theory and the practice related to the use of the bio product and its contribution in the rheological properties in elaborated pastes from the Ordinary Portland cement; then it is proposed the procedures for its physical-chemical and rheological characterization, it is selected the optimal percentage of application of the studied additive, that shows better results regarding plasticity and it is determined its effect in the rheological properties in cement pastes. During the process of research several test methods are used: Minicone, the Vicat Needle and the cone of Marsh. As result of the work we have that with the dosage of 3 % it is obtained: the highest indicator of plasticity, reduction of the water in 15%, more fluidity and setting time. By modifying the bio product with dosage of 9g/100 it is reached and maintained values of ph≥ 7. Moreover, it is established the prosedures to modify CBQ-VTC
