A study was carried out to determine the potential of PP-35 cement in the preparation of precast concrete and pre-mixed concrete in the province of Cienfuegos. The work was carried out evaluating the behavior of the resistance, sorptivity and effective porosity, when the water cement ratio varies (0.47 - 0.72). At the same time, this same process is carried out for cements P-35 and PP-25, achieving a comparison of the behavior models in the three types of cement. The results show that for equal water / cement ratios does not significantly change the resistance of the concrete at 28 days when the type of cement used changes, on the other hand in the pozzolanic cements improves the sorptivity and porosity in comparison with the cement P-35. Studies show that it is feasible to use PP-35 and PP-25 cements in the production of premixed concrete and in the prefabricated industry whenever water-reducing additives, retarders and industrial tests and corrections are used for their implementation. . The diploma work includes a study of the current state of the art on the subject in question, as well as some specific experiences with cements PP-25 and P-35.
