Resumen
En este trabajo se evaluó la posibilidad de integración de los procesos de fabricación de azúcar y alcohol en la empresa Heriberto Duquesne, en la localidad de Remedios, Villa Clara.
Se realizaron los balances de masa y energía para conocer los consumos de vapor en los principales equipos tecnológicos de cada producción y de esta forma proponer alternativas para el ahorro de las mismas, utilizándose el software Termoazúcar y Excel para una mejor confiabilidad en los resultados.
Se utilizaron herramientas de integración como el análisis Pinch para el estudio de las corrientes energéticas los cuales arrojaron resultados conservadores.
Tomando como base los resultados obtenidos en cada uno de los análisis se realizaron los cálculos de consumo de vapor en los turbogeneradores, rendimiento, eficiencia exergética y otros, para un mejor conocimiento del estado operacional de los mismos, siendo estos por debajo de las normas técnicas establecidas, por lo que se propuso un cambio en el sistema de cogeneración para un mejor aprovechamiento del sistema obteniéndose valores superiores de los rendimientos y eficiencias que en la tecnología instalada.
De los balances económicos realizados en la estación de cogeneración se obtuvieron valores que respaldan la posibilidad del cambio de tecnología, lo que beneficiaría a los procesos de azúcar y alcohol en el mejoramiento de sus producciones, obteniendo mayores ganancias a ambos.
In this work it was evaluated the possibility of integration of the processes of production of sugar and alcohol in the company Heriberto Duquesne, in the town of Remedios, Villa Clara. The mass and energy balances were carried out to know the consumptions of steam in the main technological equipments of each production and this way to propose alternatives for the saving of the same ones, being used the software Termoazúcar and Excel for a better feasibility in the results. Integration tools like the analysis Pinch was used for the study of the energy currents which threw conservative results. Taking into account the results obtained in each one of the analyses were carried out the calculations of consumption of steam in the turbogenerators, yield, exergetic efficiency and other, for a better knowledge of the operational state of the same ones, being these below the established technical norms, for what a change in the cogeneration system was proposed for a better use of the system obtaining higher values of the yields and efficiencies that in the installed technology. Economic balances were carried out in the cogeneration station and obtained results support the possibility of the technology change, what would benefit to the processes of sugar and alcohol in the improvement of their productions, obtaining bigger earnings to both.
