Resumen
En este trabajo de diploma se realizó una caracterización general del Hospital Militar Cmdte Manuel ’’Piti’’ Fajardo (UM-9958) y de cada área que abarca los sistemas mayores consumidores de energía. Como parte de las herramientas se utilizó el método de los grados-días. Se determinó la temperatura base de 21,8 °C para la entidad. Se determinó la estructura y consumo de los principales portadores energéticos de la entidad obteniendo como resultado que son la Energía Eléctrica y el Fuel Oil los fundamentales consumidores, ambos representan el 87,61% del consumo de todos los portadores. Se caracterizó el comportamiento energético de la entidad en el 2015 de acuerdo con las herramientas del SGTEE y se comprobó que el consumo de los principales portadores energéticos en la misma se encuentra como variable controlada ya que no sobrepasa los límites superiores e inferiores de la demanda. Se realizaron propuestas de mejoras y medidas para elevar la eficiencia energética.
