Resumen
La Expresión Oral de los escolares con retraso mental leve, a pesar de los defectos que lo caracterizan, abre amplias posibilidades para la enseñanza y la educación de los mismos. Estas posibilidades aumentarán considerablemente si el maestro influye en la formación no solo de habilidades y hábitos elementales, sino también de procesos psíquicos complejos que poco a poco comenzarán a cumplir su función rectora en el desarrollo de estos escolares. En torno a esta temática la investigación titulada “El desarrollo de la expresión oral en los escolares de 8. Grado con diagnóstico de retraso mental leve”, de la autora Magda Hernández Machado, tiene como objetivo: Elaborar un sistema de actividades que contribuya al desarrollo de la expresión oral de los escolares de 8. Grado con diagnóstico de Retraso Mental Leve de la Escuela Especial José Manuel Fuertes Jiménez. Para la realización de este estudio se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico y empírico. Con la información recopilada se determinaron un grupo de regularidades y necesidades relacionadas con el desarrollo de la expresión oral de estos escolares. Para dar solución a esta problemática se elaboró un sistema de actividades conformado por tres subsistemas, este se sometió a la valoración de especialistas de probada experiencia quienes aportaron criterios favorables sobre su calidad y pertinencia.Los resultados obtenidos en la investigación permitieron inferir que el Sistema de actividades propuesto desarrolló la Expresión Oral en los escolares de 8. Grado con diagnóstico de retraso mental leve, por lo que se recomienda la aplicación de la misma con los ajustes didácticos necesarios al resto de los escolares con esta discapacidad.
The oral expression in students with slight mental slowness in spite of the defects that characterize them may open wide posibilities for the teaching and education of these students. These posibilities may also increase if the teacher influence in the formation not only of skills and habits but also in complex psychic processes that little by little will start to Fulfil their Function in the development of these student. About this topic the research with the tittle of “The development of oral expression of students of 8.Grade with the diagnostic of slight mental slowness “whose author is Magda Hernández Machado presents the Following objective: To elaborate a system of activities to contribute and aid to the development of oral expression in the student of 8.Grade with diagnostic of slight mental slowness in Jose Manuel Fuertes Jiménez special school. For the performing of this study, methods of theoric and empiric levels were used with the information achieved a group of needs and regularities were determined, and they were related to the development of oral expression of these a system of activities was made, formed by three sub- systems which was presented to be valued by a group of experienced specialists that gave favourable opinions about the quality and relevancy of the work. The results obtained in the research allowed us to infer that the system of activities presented, developed the oral expression of students of 8. Grade with the necessary didactic adjustment to the rest of the students with this problem.
