| dc.description.abstract | En el trabajo de investigación que sustenta la tesis de grado, se continúan los trabajos científicos que desarrolla el Centro de Investigación de Métodos Computacionales y Numéricos en la Ingeniería, relacionados con el desarrollo de métodos de partículas y en específico el Método de Elementos Discretos (MED). En dicho trabajo se formaliza una formulación general de los métodos de los elementos discretos (MED) en cuanto a tipo de partícula y complementos matemáticos de su formulación. Adicionalmente se hace un estudio de la temática de estimación de parámetros constitutivos elásticos y un estudio particular de materiales reales. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis contributes to a branch of the scientific researches that are developed at the Center of Research of Numeric and Computational Methods for Engineering related to the development of particle methods, specifically the Discrete Element Method (DEM). A general formulation of the mathematic methods that build up the formulation of the Discrete Element Method (DEM) is done. Additionally, a study on the topic of elastic constitutive parameters estimation is done, as well as a particular study of real materials. | en_US |
