Evaluación de riesgos hídricos en la parte baja de la cuenca Sagua la Grande

Resumen
La cuenca hidrográfica constituye la unidad natural, básica y lógica para el uso y aprovechamiento
integral y racional del recurso agua, en función de lograr una satisfacción de las demandas de la
producción y los servicios de manera sostenida, con el mínimo deterioro ambiental para el desarrollo
agrícola, industrial y socio-económico de un territorio. En el presente trabajo se expone la
problemática ambiental que presenta la parte baja de la cuenca Sagua la Grande en la provincia de
Villa Clara, describiéndose las características del área seleccionada, identificándose los principales
peligros a que está expuesto el recurso agua y su repercusión en los recursos naturales suelo-aguabosque,
por lo que se realiza una Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental aplicando la Matriz de
Importancia, lo que permitió evaluar los impactos más negativos que inciden en el área de estudio.
Con los resultados de la Matriz de Importancia se identifican y evalúan los peligros, riesgos y
vulnerabilidades que afectan la parte baja de la cuenca, analizándose específicamente las
afectaciones producidas al ocurrir inundaciones por intensas lluvias y por roturas de embalse. Al
analizar los posibles impactos negativos para las distintas situaciones descritas se confeccionaron los
Planes de medidas posibilitando la toma de decisiones para minimizar los efectos negativos.
The basin hydrographical constitute the basic natural unit and logic for the use and integral and rational aprovecamiento of the resource dilute, in function of achieving a satisfaction of the demands of the production and the services in a sustained way, with the minimum of environmental deterioration for the agricultural, industrial administration and economic partner of a territory. Presently work is exposed the environmental problem that presents the low part of the basin Sagua the Big one in the county of Villa Clara, being described the characteristics of the selected area, being identified the main dangers to that this exposed one the resource dilutes and its recovery of the resources natural floor-water-forest, for what is carried out an Evaluation of the Environmental Impact applying the Womb of Importance, what allowed to evaluate the most negative impacts that impact in the study area. With the results of the Womb of Importance they are identified and they evaluate the dangers, risks and vulnerabilities that affect the low part of the basin, being analyzed the affectations produced specifically when happening floods for intense rains and for break of reservoirs. When analyzing the possible negative impacts for the different described situations the Plans of Measures they were made facilitating the taking of decisions to minimize the negative effects.
