Resumen
En el presente trabajo se realiza un estudio de la sostenibilidad económica y ambiental con el objetivo de validar la aplicación de la Revolución Energética en Cuba (REC) en la
Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas. La realización de diferentes tareas permitió conocer la situación actual de la UCLV y el comportamiento de cada uno de los portadores energéticos utilizados para medir el desempeño organizacional de la entidad, determinando los índices de consumo de cada portador energético, el impacto ambiental derivado de su uso llegando a conclusiones para la proyección de un mejor trabajo. Se realizó un análisis económico financiero al proyecto de sustitución de equipos electrodomésticos y caldera de vapor (Comedor Central) determinándose los indicadores: Período de Recuperación de la Inversión (PER), Valor Actual Neto (VAN) y la Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) con los que se demuestra la rentabilidad de dichos proyectos. Se determinó las toneladas de CO2e dejadas de emitir a la atmósfera según el tipo de portador y la posible inserción al Mecanismo de Desarrollo Limpio (MDL) del Protocolo de Kyoto (PK) en el Mercado del Carbono.
In this present work it is carried out a study of economic and environmental sustainability in order to validate the application of the Energetic Revolution in Cuba (REC) at the Central University of Las Villas. The realization of different tasks allowed to know today is situation at de University and the behaviour of each energetic carrier used to measure the performance of arrangement of the entity, this way the indexes of consume of consume of each energetic carrier were determined, the environment impact derived from its use getting to the conclusion to project a better work. An economic and financial analysis of the project of substitution of electrodomestic appliances and steam boiler (central during room) was performed, determining the carried: Period of Recovering of Investment (PER), Present Net Value (VAN) and this way the rentability of the projects is demonstrated. It was determined the tons of CO2 which were not emitted to the atmosphere according to the kind of carrier and a possible insertion to mechanising of clean development (MDL) of Kyoto (PK) in the carbon market.
