Resumen
Las transformaciones ocurridas en la industria azucarera cubana, a partir del 2002
tienen como finalidad la reactivación, desactivación y redimensionamiento de la
producción azucarera sobre la base de la elevación de la eficiencia económica. En
el sector agrícola, se incentiva la producción agropecuaria de las empresas sobre
la base de la diversificación.
La empresa azucarera Ifraín Alfonso tras la reestructuración aumenta su área
agrícola y diversifica las producciones agropecuarias cambiando de esta forma la
especialización productiva en general dada la necesidad de perfeccionar los
sistemas de gestión y eficiencia en la entidad en momentos que más lo necesita el
país. El trabajo tiene como objetivo general valorar el programa de diversificación
agropecuaria en la Empresa Azucarera “Ifraín Alfonso” verificando su implicación
sobre la eficiencia económica y productiva en la misma. Está estructurado en dos
capítulos, en el primero se describe el proceso de reestructuración en la empresa,
como se manejó la diversificación agroindustrial y los principales indicadores a
tener en cuenta para el análisis de la situación del programa de diversificación
agropecuaria de la empresa y su incidencia en la eficiencia de la misma. En el
segundo capítulo se caracteriza el programa de diversificación agropecuaria de la
empresa, se muestra un diagnostico y se hace un análisis comparativo de la
situación de la empresa en general.
Para este proyecto se tomó la estrategia de recogida y análisis de datos, la cual
fue seleccionada a partir de una revisión bibliográfica, en la que se utilizaron
métodos del nivel empírico y métodos estadísticos y /o procedimientos
matemáticos.
