The study of the operating electrical behaviour of coated electrodes has been covered in major publications in welding. To study the behavior of consumables has become necessary to eliminate the influence of the operator, requiring power to automate the process of the electrode feed. Have been reported some automatics feeding devices of coated electrode, which ensure the flat welding position, but still have not been reported automatics devices capable of weld at the others welding positions. At this paper we obtain a prototype of automatic device, which will feed coated electrodes for the evaluation of their electrical behaviour during welding in all positions.
