Abstract
Today our country has set the task of replacing imports, and one way to do so in the construction sector is developing Effective Microorganisms (EM) technology, which can be used as admixtures for concrete and are easy to obtain. This research focuses specifically on combining the CBQ-VTC, bioproduct obtained through EM technology, with the commercial superplasticizer SX 32 for producing concretes, and evaluating its rheological properties. Dosages of CBQ-VTC employed are of 4, 3 and 2% according to the weight of cement while the dosages of SX 32 are of 0.95, 0.5 and 0.6%. The work is mainly divided into three stages: the first, theoretical and bibliographical, where concepts and general principles are addressed; in the second, the fresh concrete is tested, specifically by slump cone or Abrams cone test; and in the third, concrete is studied in its cured stage, performing tests of water absorption by capillarity and compressive strength at the ages of 7 and 28 days. The results of these tests are analyzed, and they provide us with information of the produced mixtures and the influence of the bioproduct CBQ-VTC in the properties of the concrete produced in order to know the optimal combination for future use in the domestic construction sector.
