In this work it is carried out a study of durability of concretes manufactured with cement of low carbon (LC3), taking as samples pattern concretes elaborated with Ordinary Pórtland Cement (OPC). This investigation is governed according to the Cuban Norma 120:2014 HYDRAULIC CONCRETE - SPECIFICATIONS, which establishes the durability principle by fulfillment for different levels of atmospheric aggressiveness and chemistry to those that this material can be subjected. It was carried out a group of rehearsals, which we mention next: carbonatation depth, permeability to the air, migration of chloride ions, electric resistivity, effective porosity and capillary absorption speed (sorptivity) After analyzing the results of this work it can verify that the elaborated concretes with LC3 present a better fulfillment for all the aggressiveness conditions, showing electric resistivity values between 8 and 10 times bigger than the reference concretes and between 10 and 15 times more resistant to the step of the chlorides ions. It is also demonstrated that the concretes with LC3 need a careful cured, for which the obtained result for each one of the rehearsals has a direct dependence of this factor.
