Resumen
En el presente trabajo se desarrolla el tema de los recursos renovables específicamente la energía mareomotriz. En el mismo se realiza una detallada revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo de aumentar la cultura sobre estos. En el capitulo I se realiza una breve descripción del fenómeno de las mareas y el posterior avance de su utilización desde sus comienzos brindado una adecuada reseña histórica. Luego se analizan las principales características de las corrientes de marea y sus perspectivas a nivel mundial. Además se representan algunas zonas con características favorables para el uso de algunas tecnologías incidiendo en la importancia de su profundo conocimiento. En el capitulo II se muestran algunas metodologías para la estimación del potencial aprovechable dando conocimientos de principios y leyes fundamentales para el uso de esta herramienta. Luego se representa diferentes formas de caracterizar las tecnologías y algunos ejemplos de estas en cuanto a sus características. Además comienza la primera fase de la estimación y el aprovechamiento de este tipo de energía en zonas del predraplen de la bahía de Buenavista. En el capitulo III se continua con la operación anterior refiriéndose específicamente a las zonas de estudio mostrando consideraciones del potencial existentes y brindando propuestas viables para la extracción del mismo. Luego se representa la propuesta de un canal de ensayo para turbinas de corrientes libres, brindando las características necesarias del flujo requerido en la utilización de este.
In the current research it is developed the topic of the renewable resources, specifically the tidal energy. To do so it is carried out a detailed bibliographical revision to know the energetic power. In chapter I it is given a perspective an adequate historic review accomplishes a brief description of the phenomenon of the tides and the later advance of her utilization from his offered beginnings itself. Next they analyze the principal characteristics of the tidal currents and his worldwide perspectives. Besides they imagine some zones with favorable characteristics for the use of some technologies having an effect on the importance of your deep knowledge. In chapter II a methodology to estimate the existent potential in the tide currents in Cuba it is implemented and the theory of the quantity of movement as well as the Limit of Betz with a physical model are also settled down. Next a statistical study of the tidal currents it is carried out, and technical characteristics of the some turbine. Finally is beginning the first phase of esteem and the suchlike use of energy at zones of the predraplen of Buenavista's bay. In chapter III is continue of esteem power production graphics against the speed of the current. Then with the employment a statistical study with the obtained data of the Buenavista's bay. Next they are carried out the power production graphics against the tidal height of the bays in study, and at the end they are exposed the results obtained in the calculation of power and the media power. Next they are proposal of a canal of essay for turbines of free currents, offering the necessary characteristics of the flow once this was called for in utilization.
