Resumen
La promoción de la utilización del SAFE como herramienta para la modelación, el análisis y diseño estructural automatizado de losas y cimentaciones en balsa, en sustitución de los métodos manuales que desempeñan esta función, es la razón que ha impulsado el presente trabajo. Para su desarrollo, se realiza una revisión de los manuales del programa con el objetivo de extraer la información útil y detectar las carencias que justifican la investigación.
Primeramente, se realiza un estudio bibliográfico relacionado con el tema de losas y cimentaciones en balsa, donde se tratan aspectos fundamentales como: principales características, el proceso de modelación, métodos de diseño manuales y computarizados.
Seguidamente se profundiza en el uso del SAFE y en el análisis de diferentes variantes de plantillas incorporadas de losas y cimentaciones en balsa, contribuyendo a desarrollar un manual completo para el diseño de estos elementos planos acompañado de una serie de instrucciones y recomendaciones práctica que resultan útiles para su manejo.
Finalmente se aplica el procedimiento propuesto para el empleo del programa al modelar, analizar y diseñar los elementos planos señalados, a casos de estudio particulares con un diseño de experimento previo. Se interpretan los resultados obtenidos comparándolos con cálculos manuales en algunos casos y se arriba a conclusiones acerca de la congruencia con dichos métodos manuales.
Promoting the use of SAFE as a tool for modeling, analysis and design of automated structural slabs and foundations on rafts, replacing manual methods that perform this function, it is the reason that has driven this work. For its development, a review of program manuals is done with the aim of extracting useful information and identify gaps that warrant investigation. First, a literature related to the topic of foundation slabs and on rafts, where fundamentals are treated as performed: main features, the modeling process, manual and computerized methods of design. Then it delves into the use of SAFE and analysis of different variants of built-in templates slabs and foundations in rafts, helping to develop a comprehensive manual for the design of these flat elements accompanied by a series of instructions and practical recommendations useful for management. Finally, the proposed use of the program to model, analyze and design elements indicated plans to study individual cases a previous experiment design procedure applies. The results are interpreted by comparing them with manual calculations and in some cases up to conclusions about consistency with these manual methods.
