Resumen
La presente investigación se enmarca en la temática del trabajo con un escolar portador de Síndrome de Down. En ella se abordan los elementos teóricos más actualizados referente a esta patología, en el plano de la actividad educativa, de la esfera psicomotora, específicamente la fuerza muscular como factor básico, no sólo para la esfera de la motricidad sino también para la interrelación social. El problema científico a resolver es ¿Cómo contribuir al mejoramiento de la fuerza muscular en un escolar con Síndrome de Down de la Escuela Especial Martha Abreu de Santa clara? Por lo que se da la tarea de adaptar un conjunto de juegos físicos recreativos para el mejoramiento de la fuerza muscular en un escolar con Síndrome de Down de la Escuela Especial Martha Abreu de Santa Clara. Se emplea el estudio de caso, las notas de campo, la observación participativa, entrevistas, la medición revisión y análisis de contenido. La aplicación del conjunto de juegos nos condujo a resultados efectivos expresados en el fortalecimiento muscular del niño.
The present investigation deals with the thematic of Down syndrome whose patient is a school boy. Update theoretical elements are approached with respect to this pathology, in the plane of the educational activity, in the psycomotive sphere, specifically, the muscular strength as a basic factor. It not only deals with the motricicity of the patient but also with the social relationship. The scientific problem to solve is: How to contribute to the improvement of the muscular strength in a school boy with Down syndrome from the Special School Martha Abreu from Santa Clara? So the main task is to adapt a group of recreational physical games in order to improve the muscular strength in a school boy with Down syndrome from the Special School Martha Abreu from Santa Clara. The case study, the field notes, the participative observation, interviews, the mensuration, revision and content analysis were used to carry out this investigation. The application of the group of games led us to effective results expressed in the boy's muscular strengthening.
