This paper presents the simulation of the behavior of wind on the distribution Escambray used as a tool Ansys 14.5 software module in computational fluid dynamics (CFX) to assess the direction and wind speed was performed, and this causes turbulence with the walls of the buildings, to determine where small wind turbines placed machines. To do a study of the history of work done on the urban environment simulations was performed. Ansys-CFX 14.5 software was used for its potential when making calculations of fluid mechanics; also have reliable mathematical models to obtain results of the turbulence. For the simulation had several characteristics, such as roughness location, mesh, temperature, pressure, wind rose and the mathematical model. Performed the analysis of the results obtained by numerical tests for various wind directions, the possibility of several places in the study area where you can install small wind machines was checked.
