Resumen
En el presente trabajo se determinó la influencia de la arcilla calcinada de
Pontezuela en las lechadas de cemento Portland. Se realizaron ensayos de
fluido libre y reología, tanto para lechadas de cemento Portland con arcilla
calcinada de Pontezuela y lechadas con zeolita del yacimiento San Andrés a 5,
10, 20 y 30 % de sustitución de cemento Portland. Además se determinó la
resistencia mecánica de las lechadas con arcilla calcinada a los porcientos de
sustitución de cemento mencionados anteriormente. Se observó a medida que
aumentaba el porciento de sustitución de cemento por arcilla calcinada una
disminución del fluido libre, un aumento del punto de cedencia y de la
viscosidad plástica así como de la resistencia mecánica. A los mismos
porcientos de sustitución la arcilla calcinada presenta valores inferiores de
fluido libre y de viscosidad plástica en comparación con la zeolita mientras que
el punto de cedencia y la resistencia del gel son superiores. El valor más bajo
de resistencia mecánica se alcanzó en el 10 % de sustitución de cemento por
arcilla calcinada de Pontezuela, para un 5 y 20 % los valores de resistencia
mecánica son similares obteniéndose el mayor valor de resistencia mecánica
con un grado de sustitución de un 30 % de arcilla calcinada de Pontezuela.
In the present work determined the influence of the calcined clay of Pontezuela in the cement Portland slurries itself. Had him testings of free fluid and rheology, as much for slurries of cement Portland with calcined clay of Pontezuela and slurries with zeolite of the deposit San Andrés to 5, 10, 20 and 30 % of replacement of cement Portland. Besides he determined to the percent of mentioned before substitution of cement the mechanical resistance of the slurries with calcined clay. One observed as the percent of substitution of cement for calcined clay increased a decrease of the free fluid, an increase of the yield point and of the plastic viscosity as well as of the mechanical resistance. To the same percent of substitution the calcined clay presents inferior values of free fluid and of plastic viscosity as compared with the zeolite while the yield point and the gel strength is a superior. The lower value of mechanical resistance was enough itself in 10 % of substitution of cement for calcined clay of Pontezuela, for a 5 and 20 % the values of mechanical resistance are matches showing the bigger value of mechanical resistance with a degree of substitution of 30 % of calcined clay of Pontezuela.
