Resumen
De los factores decisivos en la calidad del hábitat humano está la construcción de viviendas cómodas y seguras que garanticen el bienestar del ser humano como objeto fundamental de la sociedad. No se puede abordar el tema de la construcción de viviendas sin analizar antes los materiales de construcción, así como la mano de obra disponible y su nivel de profesionalidad, se realizó un estudio de precios de estos materiales, su relación con producción local y mano de obra con el objetivo de establecer los precios que adquieren estos en la actualidad tanto en el sector estatal como en el no estatal y así poder realizar el cálculo del costo real de las principales tipologías de viviendas que se construyen en el municipio.
