Resumen
La presente investigación se titula “Potenciación, desde una perspectiva psicosocial, del desempeño del rol de dirigente estudiantil en la residencia U5 de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu de Las Villas” (UCLV) y se deriva de resultados de investigaciones anteriores, que forman parte del Proyecto del Centro de Bienestar Universitario (CBU) adscrito a la Facultad de Psicología.
Su principal propósito fue potenciar el desempeño del rol de dirigente estudiantil en la residencia U5 de la UCLV, para el perfeccionamiento de sus funciones, en relación con la convivencia en dicho contexto.
Para ello, se asumió la metodología cualitativa, y se empleó la Investigación – Acción como diseño de investigación. El grupo de estudio fue conformado de manera intencional y quedó integrado por 9 dirigentes estudiantiles del sexo masculino. El trabajo de campo se realizó durante los meses de febrero y marzo de 2013, mediante las técnicas de análisis de documentos, entrevista semiestructurada y el trabajo en grupo (en 6 sesiones).
Los principales resultados se refieren al logro de las reflexiones críticas y las proyecciones de cambio generadas por el propio grupo acerca de elementos estructurales y funcionales del rol de dirigente estudiantil, en relación con las características del contexto.
Por tanto, ofrece informaciones y recomendaciones útiles para las organizaciones estudiantiles (FEU y UJC) y puede facilitar el trabajo educativo que se realiza en la Residencia Estudiantil de la UCLV.
The present research is entitled “Potentiating” from a psycho-social perspective, the performance of the roll of the leadership of the student in the U5 dormitory of the Universidad Central “Marta Abreu de Las Villas” (UCLV) and it is derived from the results of previous investigations, which are part of the Project of Center for the Wellbeing of the University, ascribed to the Faculty of Psychology. Its main purpose was to potentiate the performance of the role of the student-leader in the U5 dormitory of UCLV for the improvement of their functions in relation to the coexistence in such a context. For that, the qualitative methodology was carried out and Investigation-action was used as a design for the research. The study group was made intentionally and was integrated by nine student-leaders of the male sex. The work field was done during February and March of 2013, by means of techniques of document analysis, structured interviews and group work (in six sessions) The main results refer to the success of the critical reflections and the change projections generated by the group itself about the structural and functional elements of the role of the student-leader, in relation to the characteristics of the context. Therefore, it offers useful information and recommendations to the student organizations (FEU and UJC) and it can facilitate the educative work that is carried out in the Student Dormitory of UCLV.
