Resumen

La investigación se dirigió a evaluar el efecto de la intención sobre las ansias de comer y su supresión en individuos que reportan pensamientos intrusos relacionados con comida. La misma fue realizada en el período enero-junio del 2012. Para su realización se asumió un paradigma cuantitativo y se llevó a cabo la evaluación de un subgrupo, dentro de un contexto experimental. Se utilizó una muestra de trabajo obtenida de un estudio aleatorizado, que incluyó a 97 sujetos, dentro del rango de edades estudiadas (18-60 años). Fueron utilizadas un grupo de técnicas: Entrevista Estructurada, Inventario de Supresión del Oso Blanco, Inventario de Supresión de Pensamientos Relacionados (ISPR) con Comida, ISPR Peso y Forma del Cuerpo, Cuestionario de Control de Pensamientos, Cuestionario de Ansias de Comer como Rasgo, Cuestionario de Habilidad para el Control de Pensamientos y La Escala de Reacciones Emocionales y Conductuales a los Pensamientos Intrusos, los cuales fueron analizados desde el punto de vista cuantitativo a partir de un procesamiento de los datos en el paquete estadístico SPSS/Windows18.0. A partir del análisis realizado se estableció que la intención mostró cambios significativos sobre los pensamientos intrusos relacionados con la comida, la sensación de hambre, el sentimiento de culpa, la revaloración; y en menor medida sobre los pensamientos intrusos relacionados con el peso y la forma del cuerpo, la tendencia general a suprimir, los pensamientos intrusos y las reacciones conductuales. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron comprender las áreas resultados de la intención, cuestión que permitirá la potenciación de sus efectos en diversos contextos.
The research was aimed to evaluate the intention effect over the food cravings and his suppression on individuals who have reported intrusive thoughts about the food. It was done in a period from January to June 2012. To carried this research out, it was assumed a quantitative paradigm along with the evaluation of a subgroup within an experimental context. A work is sample was obtained from a randomized study, which included 97 subjects within the age-range studied 18-60 years. A group of techniques were used: a Structured Interview, White Bear Suppression Inventory, Food Thought Suppression Inventory, Body Shape / Weight Thought Suppression Inventory, Thought Control Questionnaire, Food Craving Questionnaire–Trait, Thought Control Ability Questionnaire and the Emotional and Behavioral Reaction to Intrusive Thoughts Questionnaire. Which were all analyzed from a quantitative point of view from a data processing in a statistical package on (SPSS), in window 18.0 The analysis from this study, established that the intention effect showed some significant changes from the intrusive thoughts related to food, sensation of hunger, feeling of guilt, reevaluation; and to a lessen extend on the intrusive thoughts related with the weight and body shape as well, as a general tendency to suppress, intrusive thoughts and behavioral reactions. The results allowed to understanding the areas of the intention results, an issue that will allow the enhancement of their effects in others contexts.
