The research was aimed at assessing the construct validity and reliability of the self Vivencial in the central provinces of Cuba, during the period between November 2010 and June 2011. Quantitative paradigm was used for instrumental study in which we selected a probability sample comprised of 2528 apparently healthy subjects, of whom 59.5% were female and 40.5% men with an age range from 18 to 80 years, were applied the Experiential Self-report The data processing was performed using SPSS / Windows 18.0. Statistical tests applied were: Exploratory Factor Analysis (using Principal Component Analysis with Varimax rotation); Cronbach Coefficient of Reliability (α), which allowed the analysis of inter-item reliability; and finally, the Pearson correlation coefficient as a last resort cofiabilidad of the test, but to analyze its temporal consistency (test-retest reliability). The analysis led to the Experiential Self-report has satisfactory psychometric properties. The structure factor shows a group acceptable items around three factors theoretically distinguishable: experience dysthymia, anger-rejection and anxiety-fear. It also has a high internal consistency α= ,81 and temporal stability.
