Resumen
Dicha investigación tuvo como propósito elaborar un Manual dirigido a todos los cuidadores de pacientes con Deterioro Cognitivo Leve (DCL) teniendo en cuenta las necesidades del cuidador principal. Se trabajó con una muestra constituida por 13 cuidadores de la casa de abuelos # 2 del municipio Santa Clara.
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo cuyo paradigma de Investigación fue el Mixto,
fundamentado en métodos y técnicas como: Entrevista semiestructurada a la trabajadorasocial, entrevista semiestructurada a los cuidadores principales, entrevista estructurada a losmismos, revisión de documentos oficiales y cuestionario a profesionales.
Como resultado se logró una aproximación a la relación cuidador-paciente y a las
necesidades del primero en relación a su desempeño desde un enfoque integrador. El
análisis de los resultados se realizó a través del estudio cualitativo conjuntamente con
descripciones cuantitativas de los datos, revelando la necesidad de información con respectoal término abordado así como necesidades de apoyo familiar y profesional.
Finalmente se elabora el manual el cual se somete a evaluación a través de un cuestionarioa profesionales, que fue calificado según la técnica del paquete estadístico SPSSdenominada Coeficiente de Kendall y se ofrecen recomendaciones necesarias con el objetivode continuar desarrollando investigaciones en relación al tema, además de sugerencias paraintervenir favorablemente en esta situación. Dicha investigación constituye un intento decuidar al cuidador y al anciano con Deterioro Cognitivo Leve.
The purpose of this investigation is to elaborate an instruction Manual directed to the people who take care of all the patients with Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) taking into consideration the needs of the principal people who care of these patients. The sample used was composed by 13 “people who care” in the residence for old people # 2 in Santa Clara municipality. It was realized a descriptive study with the mix paradigm of investigation based on methods and techniques such as: semi structure Interview to the social worker, semi structure Interview and structure Interview to the principal people who care the patients, revision of official documents and professionals questionnaires. A closer relation patient-“people who care”, was achieved and also an approach to the occupation of these workers, analyzed with an integral focus. The analysis results was made through the qualitative study unite to quantitative descriptions of the information, showing the necessity of intensify the study of this topic and also the needs of familiar and professional support. Finally the instruction Manual was elaborated and evaluated by experts thorough a questionnaire applied to them. It was qualify according to the technique statistics package SPSS denominate Kendall´s coefficient. Necessaries recommendations have been given for keeping developing researches concerning with this topic, besides the useful suggestions favorable in this situation.This investigation has the purpose of helping the aged and the people who takes care of them.
