In the present work a diagnosis of the air quality in the south-east zone of Santa Clara city was made by means of an integrated analysis of the emissions on main sources in this area, the inmissions in open spaces and main streets, the modelling of the dispersion and the evaluation of the categories impact included in the Ecoindicador 99. The results demonstrated an acceptable air quality in this zone according to NC111:(2004) “Rules for the observation of air quality in human establishment , but the results of the experimental measurements and the dispersion evidenced that the polluting agent with greater detrimental effect is sulphur dioxide (SO2) and the area of greater contaminants concentration is “Arnaldo Milián Castro” hospital. In the evaluation of environment indicator the affected categories were climatic change, acidification and breathing by inorganic, the last was the greater incidence and the source which affect was the Electric Generator in this category.
