dc.description.abstractEl asentamiento urbano Covadonga, ubicado en el municipio Aguada de Pasajeros, provincia Cienfuegos, presenta una desfavorable situación en la Zona Centro Tradicional debido, fundamentalmente, al deterioro marcado de su sistema de espacios libres públicos. Esta problemática fue detectada en el diagnóstico multidimensional realizado en dicho municipio con el apoyo del Departamento de Arquitectura de la Universidad Central de Las Villas, desde el Proyecto Internacional Hábitat 2, para el desarrollo local. La presente investigación brinda una propuesta para la rehabilitación integral de esta zona utilizando el “Procedimiento metódico para planeamiento y plan especial de la rehabilitación integral del hábitat urbano,” herramienta que permite el análisis y diagnóstico para la gestión del planeamiento y el diseño urbano. En las diferentes esferas de acción del urbanismo está identificada, por consenso, la necesidad de replantear los procedimientos para incluir con efectividad la participación social; pero el cómo lograrlo no está suficientemente desarrollado. Por ello y para un mejor abordaje teórico y metodológico del trabajo, se complementó la investigación con la disciplina de sociología, que aporta las herramientas para incluir con precisión la participación. Los resultados obtenidos validan la caracterización del proceso con un enfoque social.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe urban establishment Covadonga, located in the municipality of Aguada de Pasajeros, from Cienfuegos province, presents an unfavorable situation in the Zone Traditional Center mainly because of the marked damage on its system of free public spaces. This problem was noticed in the multidimensional diagnosis carried out in this municipality with the support of the Department of Architecture of the Central University of Las Villas, from the Project International Habitat 2, for the local development. The present research offers a proposal for the integral rehabilitation of this zone using the "Methodical procedure for planning and the special plan for the integral rehabilitation of the urban habitat" tool that allows to do analysis and diagnosis for the administration of the planning and the urban design. In the different spheres of action of the urbanism is identified for consent the necessity to restate the procedures to include for its effectiveness with the social participation; but the ways to achieve it is not sufficiently developed. For it and for a better theoretical and methodological boarding, the investigation was supplemented with the sociology discipline that contributes the elements to include the participation accurately. The obtained results validate the characterization of the process with a social focus.en_US
