El lenguaje de la ciencia de los estudiantes de Licenciatura en Química

Abstract

El objetivo general del trabajo es caracterizar el lenguaje científico de los estudiantes de Licenciatura en Química de la Universidad Central «Marta Abreu» de Las Villas. En el curso académico 2018-2019 se realizó un diagnóstico a los estudiantes de cuarto año de la carrera de Licenciatura en Química, determinado por la necesidad del colectivo de carrera y del colectivo de año y en el cual se evidenciaron algunas carencias relacionadas con el uso del lenguaje científico. Métodos: Se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico y del nivel empírico, mediante los cuales las autoras determinaron regularidades existentes en el uso del lenguaje de la ciencia por parte de estos estudiantes. Resultados: Las principales contribuciones del trabajo están dirigidas a la generalización de los resultados de la tesis doctoral El desarrollo de la comunicación científica oral de los estudiantes de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia. Este artículo se deriva de los resultados obtenidos en el trabajo de diploma, Estudio del lenguaje científico de los estudiantes de Licenciatura en Química, defendido en el año 2019. Conclusiones: Las autoras continuarán trabajando en este importante campo del saber, puesto que es uno de los objetivos priorizados dentro del estudio de la lengua materna en Cuba y en mundo.

Introduction: The general objective of this work is to characterize the scientific language of the students of Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry of the Universidad Central «Marta Abreu» de Las Villas. In the 2018-2019 academic year, a diagnosis was made to the fourth year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, determined by the need of the career collective and the year collective and in which some deficiencies related to the use of scientific language were evidenced. Methods: Theoretical and empirical methods were used, by means of which the authors determined existing regularities in the use of the language of science by these students. Results: The main contributions of the work are directed to the generalization of the results of the doctoral thesis The development of oral scientific communication of students of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics. This article is derived from the results obtained in the diploma work, Study of the scientific language of the students of Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, defended in 2019. Conclusions: The authors will continue to work in this important field of knowledge, since it is one of the prioritized objectives within the study of the mother tongue in Cuba and in the world.
