La Bioseguridad en las unidades avícolas de nuestra provincia presenta deficiencias, por lo que es necesario relacionar el estado de bioprotección con la calidad productiva y las pérdidas económicas ya que las granjas avícolas con bioseguridad deficiente manifiestan resultados bajos en los indicadores bioproductivos. Con el objetivo de analizar las principales deficiencias de la bioseguridad (brechas sanitarias de la Bioseguridad) que influyen en el proceso productivo en las unidades avícolas de la provincia Villa Clara se realizó una evaluación de las medidas biosanitarias donde se analizaron las evaluaciones de bioseguridad (Res 20/2016), los datos fueron recopilados en los registros de la unidades, y comparados con los realizados por nosotros al momento del estudio, concluyendo que sólo una de sus unidades está evaluada de protegida ya que las otras siete poseen brechas sanitarias invalidantes por lo que sus aves están expuestas a los agentes infecciosos y a depredadores lo que incide negativamente en el cumplimiento de los planes de producción e indicadores bioproductivos. Las principales brechas sanitarias son: no existe ropa sanitaria, badenes y cajuelas de desinfección desactivada, mallas antipájaros en mal estado, (permitiendo la entrada de la avifauna silvestre al interior de las naves), no existe un almacén de huevos, no se cumple el principio zoo-veterinario “Todo dentro - Todo fuera”, los trabajadores no se bañan al entrar y salir de la unidad.
The Biosecurity in the poultry units of our province has deficiencies, so it is necessary to relate the state of bioprotection with the productive quality and the economic losses since poultry farms with deficient biosecurity show low results in the bioproductive indicators. In order to analyze the main deficiencies of biosecurity (health gaps of Biosecurity) that influence the production process in the poultry units of Villa Clara province, an evaluation was made of the bio-sanitary measures where the biosafety evaluations were analyzed (Res 20/2016), the data were collected in the unit's records, and compared with those made by us at the time of the study, concluding that only one of its units is evaluated as protected since the other seven have invalidating health gaps so that their birds are exposed to infectious agents and predators, which negatively affects compliance with production plans and bioproductive indicators. The main sanitary gaps are: there are no sanitary clothes, speed bumps and disinfection trunks deactivated, anti-bird nets in bad condition, (allowing the entry of wild birds into the interior of the ships), there is no egg store, the zoo-veterinary principle "Everything inside - Everything out", workers do not bathe when entering and leaving the unit.
