Resumen
Se han desarrollado muchas Interfaces en Lenguaje Natural para Bases de Datos mediante la transformación del lenguaje natural al lenguaje de consultas SQL. Estos sistemas tienen como propósito establecer un puente entre el lenguaje usado por los humanos y las computadoras mediante la traducción automática de sentencias en lenguaje natural a consultas para bases de datos.
En la presente investigación se desarrolló un traductor que transforma consultas formuladas en lenguaje natural español sobre cualquier dominio a SQL, que utiliza técnicas de procesamiento del lenguaje natural e implementa un mecanismo de expansión de consultas a partir de un diccionario de dominio creado con la ayuda de la base de datos léxica WordNet. La herramienta fue evaluada de forma empírica a partir de un caso de estudio obteniéndose buenos resultados.
Many Interfaces have been developed in Natural Language for Databases by means of the transformation from the natural language to the language of consultations SQL. These systems have as purpose to establish a bridge among the language used by the humans and the computers by means of the machine translation of sentences in natural language to consultations for databases. In the present investigation a translator was developed that transforms consultations formulated in natural Spanish language on any domain to SQL that uses technical of prosecution of the natural language and it implements a mechanism of expansion of consultations starting from a domain dictionary created with the help of the WordNet lexical database. The tool was evaluated in an empiric way starting from a case of study being obtained good results.
