Propuesta de Requisitos para la Categorización de Hostales. Caibarién como caso de estudio

Abstract

La oferta de alojamiento turístico no estatal ha experimentado un crecimiento sostenido en el país durante los últimos años, apoyado por los nuevos Lineamientos de la Revolución y el Partido. El aporte económico del sector es tan significativo como su contribución a la diversificación de los servicios turísticos. La presente investigación está dedicada al estudio de este en un esfuerzo por estandarizar sus servicios y facilitar su comercialización a través de las agencias de viajes receptoras en Cuba. Para ello se estructuró un sistema teórico conceptual sobre las bases del estudio del alojamiento turístico en general y de las normas de categorización nacionales e internacionales. Como resultado principal, el diseño de una Propuesta de Requisitos para la categorización del alojamiento turístico no estatal, como herramienta de trabajo de las agencias de viajes receptoras, validado mediante su aplicación en los hostales de la ciudad de Caibarién, un polo turístico en constante crecimiento, para el cual la oferta de alojamiento no estatal tiene significativa importancia por la insuficiencia de oferta estatal. Se aplicaron diferentes métodos y técnicas para la obtención de información y softwares informáticos para su procesamiento, arribando a conclusiones de investigación y el aporte de recomendaciones sobre la base de la investigación realizada.

The offer of non- state touristic lodging has experienced a sustained growth in the country during the last years, supported by the new Limits of the Revolution and the Party. The economic contribution of the sector is as significant as its contribution to the diversification of the tourist services. The present investigation is dedicated to the study of this sector in an effort to standardize its services and to facilitate its commercialization through receptive Travel Agencies in Cuba. To accomplish that, it was structured a conceptual theoretical system on the base of the study of the touristic lodging in general, and national and international Norms of Categorization. As main result, the design of a Proposal of Requirements for the categorization of the non- state touristic lodging, as work tool of the receptive Travel Agencies, validated by their application in the inns of Caibarién city, a tourist pole in constant growth, for which the offer of non- state lodging has significant importance for the inadequacy of state offer. Different methods and techniques were applied for the obtaining of information and computer softwares for their prosecution, arriving to conclusions and the contribution of recommendations with base of the carried investigation.
