dc.description.abstractLa música, como portadora de elementos distintivos de las regiones y de los grupos sociales, se asocia a la conformación de la identidad sociocultural. En Sancti Spíritus, provincia de la región central de Cuba, existe una tradición musical autóctona como resultado de su historicidad. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo describir la identidad musical espirituana a través del documental televisivo. Se realiza desde una perspectiva cualitativa y deviene en un estudio para la producción en el campo de la comunicación. Fueron aplicados los métodos bibliográfico documental, el biográfico y el etnográfico. Además, la revisión bilbiográfico-documental, la entrevista semiestructurada y la entrevista abierta fueron las principales técnicas científicas aplicadas. Como resultados de la investigación, se plasma la repercusión social de la música espirituana, se sistematizan elementos como las etapas de desarrollo y sus géneros más representativos y se elabora un guion que recoge las opiniones de varias fuentes especializadas sobre la marca de identidad de la música espirituana y el aporte al panorama musical cubano en pos de la realización de un documental televisivo.en_US
dc.description.abstractMusic, as the carrier of distinctive elements of regions and social groups, is associated with the shaping of sociocultural identity. In Sancti Spíritus, province of the central region of Cuba, there is an autochthonous musical tradition as a result of its historicity. This research aims to describe the musical identity of Sancti Spíritus through the television documentary. It is carried out from a qualitative perspective and becomes a study for production in the field of communication. Documentary bibliographic, biographical and ethnographic methods were applied. In addition, the bilbiographical-documentary review, the semi-structured interview and the open interview were the main applied scientific techniques. As a result of the research, the social repercussion of the music of Sancti Spíritus is reflected, elements such as the stages of development and their most representative genres are systematized and a script is elaborated that collets the opinions of various specialized sources on the contribution to the Cuban music scene in pursuit of the making of a television documentary.en_US
