Abstract
The business rules approach is widely supported by the IT community. But there is still a deficiency at the business level. Hence, how to provide a path, relative to the business, to govern his knowledge, but keeping it formal enough to serve as input to the technical process is the problem treated in this work. Following the aim of obtaining a means of modeling business based on business rules, by developing a documentation system based on the concepts of SBVR to ensure the leading role of business experts in the development process based on business rules , is taken as the main result the implementation of a general rulebook system. It also obtained a Spanish version of the text-based model proposed for capturing SBVR vocabularies and rules. And the establishmen t of a mechanism for treatment of vocabulary allows obtaining relevant knowledge for editing business rules. Along with the system has been obtained a module for knowledge extraction from digitalized documents. This is a first step in the direction of providing a means of digitized knowledge reuse so it is recommended its enrichment by incorporating natural langu age processing and text mining techniques.
