Resumen
La presente investigación analiza la necesidad de una televisión comunitaria verdadera. Más allá de sus condiciones geográficas buscamos una televisión que refleje a su gente, apegados a los conceptos teóricos de lo que hoy en el mundo se conoce como TV comunitaria, capaz de lograr una retroalimentación con su público y con ello una repercusión mayor en la vida cotidiana de quienes allí viven, como entes sociales transformadores de su propia realidad. Es por ello que tiene como objetivo diseñar una estrategia que potencie la participación ciudadana dentro del telecentro del municipio de Sagua la Grande. Con tal fin la autora empleó el paradigma cualitativo de investigación científica, que unido a procedimientos cuantitativos enriquecieron un corpus único, los resultados de la investigación. La utilización de métodos y técnicas como la entrevista semiestructurada, la encuesta y la observación participante, demostró que en la práctica cotidiana de Sagua Visión son insuficientes los vínculos que se establecen con el público, actor fundamental en el proceso comunicativo con vocación comunitaria.
The present research analyzes the need for true community television. Beyond its geographical conditions seek a television that reflects their people, attached to the theoretical concepts of what is now known as the world community TV, able to achieve with your audience feedback and thus a greater impact on life everyday living there, as social beings transform their own reality. This is precisely what carried the author to fulfill the following goal: to design a strategy to promote the civic participation within the TV local station of Sagua la Grande. In that sense, the author used the research qualitative paradigm which combined with quantitative procedures, allowed her to enrich the results obtained from this research. The use of methods and techniques like the semistructrural interview, survey and participatory observation, proved that in a daily reality of Sagua Visión station, the relations established between the audience and main actors during the community communicative process, are insufficient.
