Resumen
La educación secundaria ha tenido modificaciones importantes en los últimos años
en vista de fortalecer la formación integral de los estudiantes. La Geografía escolar
tiene un importante valor para las nuevas generaciones. Los principios de la
Geografía son un significativo aporte de esta ciencia que debe ser mejor utilizado
en la enseñanza de este nivel educativo. En la investigación se aplicaron métodos
sustentados en el enfoque materialista dialéctico, entre ellos, del nivel teórico,
empírico y matemático, que posibilitan la utilización de procedimientos, técnicas y
formas que apuntan al cumplimiento del objetivo propuesto, permitiendo el
desarrollo exitoso de la investigación. Las actividades diseñadas responden a las
posibilidades existentes en el currículo institucional de la escuela secundaria
básica y junto al folleto que se diseña son los principales aportes del trabajo.
Secondary education has undergone significant changes in recent years in view of the comprehensive education of students. The School geography has an important value for the cultural formation of the new generations. The principles of Geography are a significant contribution of this science that should be better used in the teaching of this educational level. In the research, methods based on the Dialectical Materialist approach were applied, from the theoretical, empirical and mathematical levels, which make possible the use of procedures, techniques and forms that point to the fulfillment of the proposed objective, allowing the successful development of the research. The activities designed respond to the existing possibilities in the institutional curriculum of the basic secondary school and next to the brochure that is designed are the main contributions of the work.
