Abstract
respectivamente.

The present project verifies the quantification of Fe2+ using the method of ophenantroline through spectrophotometry UV-Vis. For the above-mentioned the limits of quantification and detection were determined, a regression and precision analysis was carried out. The previous was carried out through repetition and intermediate precision. As criteria of variability of intermediate precision, only analysts were used. A study of proportional biases and constants was also carried out to determine the possible influence of the sample matriz in the analytic results. It was proven that the limits of quantification and detection are inferior to the minimum value of the concentration used in the regression analysis. It was also verified that the method is lineal in the range of concentration used and that it complies with the criteria of repetition and intermediate precision studied. It was demonstrated through the evaluation of proportional bias that the molar relationship Fe2+/ inferent species influences in the analytic results, which should therefore be rectified by the recovering of consent. It was also proven through the study of constant bias that the quantity of sample does not influence in the analytic results. Finally, the contents of Fe2+, Fe3+ and Fe total in the water of the Sagua La Grande river used. At the Electrochemical Company of Sagua La Grande were determined, these values being respectively equal to 0,09 ± 0,01 mg/L, 0,08 ± 0,03 mg/L and 0,17 ± 0,02 mg/L. Key words: Verification, iron, fluvial water
