Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas. El aumento de la divorcialidad en
Cuba se manifiesta como tendencia e incide en el comportamiento intelectual y
afectivo- conductual de los hijos. Como parte de la formación laboral investigativa en la
escuela primaria María Dámasa Jova, a través de la práctica laboral se identifican
diferentes patrones educativos inadecuados que utilizan los padres en situaciones de
divorcio que necesitan de orientación. La investigación tiene como objetivo: proponer
una Escuela de Educación Familiar para orientar a las familias en situación de divorcio.
Se utilizan los métodos del nivel teórico, empírico y estadístico que posibilitan el
diagnóstico de las necesidades en lo referente a la orientación de las familias en
situaciones de divorcio. Para desarrollar la presente investigación se toma como
muestra 16 madres y padres de escolares de 4to grado. Se diseña un sistema de
sesiones de Escuela de Educación Familiar dirigida a ampliar los conocimientos de las
madres y padres sobre las consecuencias de un divorcio mal manejado para los hijos,
así como contribuir a mejorar las posibilidades de afrontamiento de los padres y
madres en tales situaciones y el progreso en la solución de las problemáticas
detectadas en el diagnóstico.

The methods of the theoretical, empirical and statistical level are used that make it possible to diagnose the needs in terms of the orientation of families in divorce situations. To develop the present research, 16 mothers and fathers of 4th grade students are taken as a sample. A system of sessions of School of Family Education is designed to expand the knowledge of mothers and fathers about the consequences of a badly managed divorce for their children, as well as contribute to improve the possibilities of coping of parents in such situations and the progress in solving the problems detected in the diagnosis.
