Abstract
El objetivo general de este proyecto consiste en la realización de un Sistema de Información que permita el control de medicamentos en la Farmacia Intrahospitalaria del Hospital Cardiocentro “Ernesto Guevara” de Villa Clara y que, a su vez, ayude a los técnicos de farmacia y al personal especializado a hacer una mejor prescripción de los medicamentos, una dosificación adecuada y una óptima selección del tratamiento a seguir para cada paciente.
El Sistema de Control de Medicamentos, utiliza una tecnología cliente-servidor, con una Base de Datos en Microsoft SQL Server. Los casos de uso del sistema aseguran que cada usuario acceda únicamente a la información que le es pertinente y necesaria. Constituye, por sí solo, un obligado material de consulta en cualquier investigación sobre el uso de sistemas de información en el almacenamiento de medicamentos para la cirugía cardiovascular, lo que eleva el nivel de profesionalidad de todos los involucrados.
Finalmente, se validó su funcionamiento en el propio centro al que está destinado, cumpliendo eficientemente con todas las aspiraciones que se tenían al comienzo del proyecto y logrando una interfaz visual cómoda y agradable para los actores del sistema. Se logra así disminuir la resistencia a esta nueva herramienta que automatizará importantes y complicadas funciones hasta ahora llevada a cabo por el personal del Cardiocentro.
The general objective of this work consists in the realization of an information system that helps the technicians of the pharmacy and the medical personnel to better prescribe medication, an adequate dosage and an optimum selection of the treatment to follow for each patient. The Medication Control System utilizes a client-server technology, with a database in Microsoft SQL Server, that facilitates the control of medication in the intra-hospital pharmacy of the Cardiocentro Hospital” Ernesto Guevara” in Villa Clara. The Use cases of the system ensure that each user accedes uniquely the information that is necessary and pertaining to him/her. It constitute, by itself, a mandatory consultation material in whichever research about the use of information system in the storage of medication involved in cardiovascular surgery, which elevates the level of professionalism of all involved. Finally, its functioning was validated in the same center to which it is destined, complying efficiently with all aspirations that were had at the beginning of the Project, and achieving a comfortable and agreeable visual interface for all the actors of the system. In this way, one manages to diminish the resistance to this new tool that automates important and complicated functions which were to this point carried out by personnel of the Cardiocentro.
