Resumen
En la actualidad, las organizaciones se enfrentan al desafío constante de asegurar que los productos y servicios agreguen valor, convirtiéndose más crítico en empresas con múltiples activos, las cuáles buscan gestionarlos de manera sostenible y optimizada, alineándolos con sus objetivos; de ahí la necesidad de medir el grado en el que la entidad asimila o integra las buenas prácticas en lo que respecta a la Gestión de activos. En este sentido, en la presente investigación se propone un procedimiento para determinar el nivel de madurez de la Gestión de activos en la empresa EMI “Batalla de Santa Clara”.
Para darle cumplimiento a lo anterior se realiza una revisión detallada de la literatura con vista a conocer los conceptos y elementos característicos de la Gestión de activos, así como los modelos disponibles para medir el nivel de madurez, tanto en este como en otros procesos empresariales. El procedimiento propuesto, mediante la integración de un grupo de herramientas, permite determinar el nivel de madurez de la Gestión de activos que posee la organización, y a partir de ello identificar los problemas fundamentales que se encuentran afectando el correcto desempeño de esta área, y, en consecuencia, proponer acciones de mejora encaminadas a superarlos e incrementar dicho nivel de madurez. Por último, la factibilidad del procedimiento propuesto es validada a través del criterio de un grupo de expertos, tanto de la práctica como de la academia
Nowadays, organizations face the constant challenge of ensuring that products and services add value, becoming more critical in companies with multiple assets, which seek to manage them in a sustainable and optimized way, aligning them with their objectives; hence the need to measure the degree to which the entity assimilates or integrates good practices regarding Asset Management. In this sense, this research proposes a procedure to determine the level of maturity of Asset Management in the company EMI "Batalla de Santa Clara". In an effort to comply with the above, a detailed review of the literature is carried out in order to become acquainted with the concepts and characteristic elements of Asset Management, as well as the models available to measure the maturity level, both in this and in other business processes. The proposed procedure, through the integration of a group of tools, allows to determine the level of maturity of Asset Management in the organization, and from there, to identify the fundamental problems that are affecting the correct performance of this area, and, consequently, to propose improvement actions aimed at overcoming them and increase said level of maturity. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed procedure is validated through the criteria of a group of experts, both from practice and academia
