dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación titulada “La parranda de Caibarién como expresión de la identidad cultural cubana” responde a un interés del Departamento de Comunicación Social de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas. Con ella se pretende dar respuesta a su objetivo general: describir la parranda de Caibarién como práctica cultural identitaria. Se utilizó una perspectiva metodológica cualitativa, en cuya base se utilizaron técnicas para la recogida de información como la entrevista semiestruturada, la observación participante y el análisis de documentos. Se basó además, en un diseño etnográfico, que persigue la descripción o reconstrucción analítica de carácter interpretativo de la cultura, formas de vida y estructura social del grupo investigado; en nuestro caso específico: la parranda. Todo lo que fue posibilitando los resultados obtenidos.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe present research entitled “The Caibarien Parranda as an expression of the Cuban cultural identity” responds to an interest of the Social Communication Departament of the Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas. It is intended to respond to its general objective: to describe the Caibarien parranda as a cultural identity practice. A qualitative methodological perspective was used, based on techniques for the collection of information such as the semi-structured interview, participant observation and document analysis. It was also based on an ethnographic design that pursues the description or analytical reconstruction of the interpretative character of the culture, ways of life and social structure of the research group; in our specific case: the parranda. All this made possible the results obtained.en_US
