dc.description.abstractLas fuentes renovables de energía constituyen la base del desarrollo sostenible dado a que son capaces de reemplazar los combustibles fósiles por energía limpia e inagotable. A día de hoy son muchas las iniciativas que se desarrollan en el mundo y en nuestro país encaminadas a la implementación de tecnologías capaces de generar energía eléctrica a través de estas. La presente investigación manifiesta una selección de las tecnologías para la generación de energía eléctrica a través de fuentes renovables de energía con mayores potencialidades en el municipio de Corralillo, con el fin de apoyar un proyecto de desarrollo local dirigido a la implementación de tecnologías de este tipo, encabezado por la Empresa Eléctrica UEB Corralillo y que es capaz de beneficiar a la localidad y al sistema electro-energético nacional. Para esto se desarrolla un proceso de toma de decisiones que involucra el análisis de las características del municipio de Corralillo y el estudio de las tecnologías actuales para la generación de energía eléctrica a través de fuentes renovables de energía que pueden ser instalados y que son de viable alcance, y en el cual se desarrolla un análisis a través del método multicriterio discreto AHP con el implemento de la herramienta informática Expert Choice para una jerarquización de las diferentes alternativas disponibles y, consecuentemente, realizar una selección óptima. dc.description.abstractRenewable sources of energy constitute the basis of sustainable development since they are capable of replacing fossil fuels with clean and inexhaustible energy. Today there are many initiatives that are developed in the world and in our country aimed at the implementation of technologies capable of generating electricity through them. This research shows a selection of technologies for the generation of electricity through renewable energy sources with greater potential in the municipality of Corralillo, in order to support a local development project aimed at the implementation of technologies of this type , headed by the UEB Corralillo Electric Company and which is capable of benefiting the locality and the national electrical energy system. For this, a decision-making process is developed that involves the analysis of the characteristics of the municipality of Corralillo and the study of current technologies for the generation of electricity through renewable energy sources that can be installed and that are viable. scope, and in which an analysis is developed through the discrete multicriteria AHP method with the implementation of the Expert Choice computer tool for a ranking of the different available alternatives and, consequently, make an optimal selection.
