In this paper we describe the outlines of a system designed for teaching Computer Networks. This system consists of a set of conceptual maps that allow us the navigation and the interpretation of the triple word: concept-word and link-concept. Various computing resources such as HTML pages, multimedia and documents are presented, as well as presentations related to the concepts of the map, which provide information of the content covered and allow us to appreciate more clearly the operation of networks. It also addresses the theoretical aspects about the subject matter of study (Computer Network) in a more comprehensive way possible. Knowledge is structured in eight conceptual maps, the initial map, "Networks ", that allows access to the main map and is entitled "Computer Networks" which offers an overview of the global concepts of matter and also provides a link to the six maps left: "Classifications", "Equipment", "Computer Networks", "TCP / IP", "Layers and levels" and "Network Protocols". The system was implemented using the software CmapTools.
