En el presente trabajo se realizó el estudio de la producción y su posterior aplicación de los medios biológicos, (beauveria, verticillium, trichogramma y enemigos naturales), para evaluar su comportamiento e incidencias contra las plagas en cultivos importantes, para lograr una agricultura sostenible. Se utilizaron diferentes fuentes de información disponibles, así como métodos empíricos tales como: la observación científica, la revisión de documentos y el criterio de expertos que permitieron profundizar en la estrategia fitosanitaria aplicada en los diferentes cultivos a través de los manejos integrados de plagas. Se utilizó además el análisis bioestadístico con los resultados de 28 Centros de Reproducción de Entomófagos y Entomopatógenos (CREE) lo que permitió establecer comparaciones de diferentes medio biológicos utilizados en el periodo 2008-2010.Se propone una aplicación de medios biológicos para lograr una agricultura sostenible representando para nuestro municipio Encrucijada de la Provincia de Villa Clara la sustitución de gran parte de los productos químicos , todo lo cual representa un mejoramiento en los niveles de toxicidad ambiental así como en el ahorro de divisa de dicha empresa.
In the present work it was made the study of the production and later application of the biological means, (beauveria, verticillium, trichogramma and natural enemies), to evaluate its behavior and incidences against plagues in important, in order to achieve a sustainable agriculture. Different available sources of information were used, as well as empirical methods such as: the scientific observation, the review of documents and the experts' criterion that allowed the deep study of the depth phytosanitary strategy applied in the different cultivations through the integrated handling of plagues. The biostatistical analysis was used also with the results of 28 Entomofagues and Entomopatógenos Reproducción Centers (EERC) which allowed to establish comparisons of the different biological means used in the period 2008-2010. It propose an application of biological means to achieve a sustainable agriculture representing for the Province of Villa Clara the substitution of a great part of the chemical products, which means an improvement in the environmental toxicity level as well as the saving of dollars of this Province.
