Resumen
El uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones ofrece la oportunidad de mejorar la eficiencia productiva, mediante la automatización de las operaciones y la optimización del tiempo. En la esfera del turismo, las TICS brindan a las Agencias de Viajes nuevas formas de comunicación, como los Sistemas de Reservas, que las acercan a los productores de servicios turísticos. En el presente trabajo se propone un Sistema de Reservas para la Agencia de Viajes Cubanacán Cienfuegos, en la cual existen deficiencias en la distribución del producto TEC, debido a que se realizan las operaciones vía teléfono, lo cual causa problemas de comunicación e información con los proveedores de servicios en tiempo real, así como deficiencia en la atención a los clientes. Se propone una adaptación del Sistema eTRAVEL Suite de acuerdo a las características y necesidades de la agencia. En el proceso investigativo se usaron métodos como: análisis documental, observación directa, tormentas de ideas, análisis DAFO, entrevistas no estructuradas y análisis tanto interno como externo de la agencia.
The use of the Technologies of the Information and the Communications (TICs) offers the opportunity to improve the productive effectiveness, by means of the automation of the operations and the optimization of the time. In the sphere of the tourism, the TICs offer to the Travel Agencies new communication forms, such as theReservation Systems, that bring near them to the producers of tourist services. This work proposes a Reservation System for the Travel Agency Cubanacán Cienfuegos, in which exist deficiencies in the distribution of the product TEC, because they are carried out the operations by phone, that which causes communication and information problems with the suppliers of services in real time, as well as deficiency in the attention to the clients. Starting from a deep bibliographical revision on the topic in question and the general diagnosis of the distribution process, it intends an adaptation of the System eTRAVEL Suite according to the characteristics and necessities of the Agency. In the investigative process, some methods were used like: documental analysis, direct observation, ideas storms, analysis DAFO, not structured interviews and analysis so much internal as external of the Agency. As a result, the proposed System contributes to improve the distribution process of the product TEC, starting from an improvement in the communications between the Agency and the different suppliers of tourist services, impacting positively in the national tourist's satisfaction.
