Simulaciones para la enseñanza de Redes de Computadoras

Abstract

En este trabajo se hace un breve análisis acerca del desarrollo de la enseñanza asistida por computadoras, particularizando en el uso de las simulaciones para la enseñanza de Redes de Computadoras. Con el propósito de elegir la herramienta más adecuada para hacer las simulaciones, se realiza un estudio de tres de ellas y se llega a la conclusión de que la elegida debe ser el Macromedia Flash Player y su lenguaje Action Script. Las simulaciones realizadas se insertaron en los nodos correspondientes del sistema SERC que a su vez forma parte del repositorio para la enseñanza basado en mapas conceptuales de la Universidad Central de Las Villas y también se creó un sitio web que contiene las simulaciones y se puede usar de forma independiente.

In this work a brief analysis about the development of the computer-assisted learning is performed, particularizing in the use of simulations for the process of teaching of Computer Networks. In order to select the best-suited tool to perform the simulations, a study of three of them is developed, arriving to the conclusion that Macromedia Flash Player must be selected, with Action Script as language. The simulations performed were inserted in the corresponding nodes of the SERC system, which is part of the teaching repository based on conceptual maps of the “Universidad Central de Las Villas”. Also, a website containing the simulations was created, which can be use in an independent way.
