El presente trabajo tiene como campo acción la provincia de Villa Clara, con el objetivo de diseñar un plan de desestacionalización teniendo en cuenta la marcada estacionalidad del turismo en la provincia en dos temporadas de alza y baja, pues a partir del conocimiento de cuáles son las principales modalidades turísticas que tienen lugar en el territorio, mostrando a su vez un nuevo enfoque que haga uso de las potencialidades que permita el crecimiento sostenible del destino. En este sentido se realizó un diagnóstico de la estacionalidad en el sector turístico de la provincia para determinar la situación actual del mismo, partiendo de las modalidades turísticas que implementa este segmento de la economía, determinando las posibilidades claras de vinculación de estas, como base del plan a desarrollar. Las técnicas y/o los métodos utilizados son la revisión bibliográfica y/o análisis documental, partiendo de un análisis descriptivo y la definición de los objetivos de desarrollo. Mediante este trabajo se elaboró un plan de desestacionalización que permite mayor dinámica en el sector turístico de Villa Clara haciendo usos de las modalidades que más peso tienen en la motivación del turista, pues esta provincia cuenta además del tradicional turismo de sol y playa, con otras opciones en tierra firme como la cultura, naturaleza y patrimonio arquitectónico. La orientación integrada del destino, es una herramienta de crecimiento responsable y sostenible del sector.

The present work has as its field of action the province of Villa Clara, with the objective of designing a deseasonalization plan taking into account the marked seasonality of tourism in the province in two seasons of rise and fall, since from the knowledge of which are the main tourist modalities that take place in the territory, showing in turn a new approach that makes use of the potential that allows the sustainable growth of the destination. In this sense, a diagnosis of the seasonality in the tourist sector of the province was carried out to determine the current situation of the same, starting from the tourist modalities that this segment of the economy implements, determining the clear possibilities of linking these, as the basis of the plan to develop The techniques and/or methods used are bibliographic review and/or documentary analysis, based on a descriptive analysis and the definition of development objectives. Through this work, a deseasonalization plan was developed that allows greater dynamics in the tourism sector of Villa Clara, making use of the modalities that have the most weight in the tourist's motivation, since this province has, in addition to the traditional sun and beach tourism, other options on the mainland such as culture, nature and architectural heritage. The integrated orientation of the destination is a tool for responsible and sustainable growth in the sector.
