Resumen
Las ciudadelas son focos de atención por la precaria situación del hábitat que en
ellas se asienta. Sagua la Grande destaca por sus altos valores históricos,
económicos y ambientales y ante el deterioro de su fondo habitacional, la falta
de gestión local por parte de las autoridades locales, surge la posibilidad de
realizar acciones concretas sobre el tejido urbano consolidado. Recuperar
espacios olvidados y generados por el crecimiento acumulativo, sin ninguna dote
de infraestructura, habitado generalmente por familias vulnerables. Aprender de
sus formas de surgimiento, características espaciales, tipología constructiva,
grado de precariedad. Entender a sus habitantes, valorar su forma de ocupación
espacial y las formas de convivencia particulares que esta conlleva. La utilización
de diferentes métodos de investigación hizo posible el diagnóstico y
caracterización de la realidad estudiada, cuyos resultados sirvieron para buscar
formas que permitan caracterizar integralmente este hábitat para poder
determinar prioridades para su intervención. Y de esta manera lograr la
prosperidad y bienestar de sus habitantes.
The citadels are focuses of attention for the precarious situation of the habitat that settles in them. Sagua la Grande one highlights for their high historical, economic and environmental values and before the deterioration of their residence bottom, the lack of local administration on the part of the local authorities, the possibility arises of carrying out concrete actions on the consolidated urban fabric. To recover forgotten spaces and generated by the accumulative growth, without any it endows of infrastructure, inhabited generally for vulnerable families. To learn in their emergence ways, characteristic space, constructive typology, precariousness grade. To understand their inhabitants, to value their form of space occupation and the particular forms of coexistence that this it bears. The use of different investigation methods made possible the diagnosis and characterization of the studied reality whose results were good to look for forms that allow to characterize this habitat integrally to be able to determine priorities for its intervention. And this way to achieve the prosperity and their inhabitants'.
