Mejoras a la planificación del transporte en la UEB Transcontenedores Villa Clara

Abstract

En el mundo contemporáneo el transporte cumple un papel cada vez más decisivo en el desarrollo de los negocios. Así, casi cualquier transacción comercial, particularmente aquellas que son ejecutadas a escala internacional, supone el desplazamiento de mercancías de un lugar a otro. El incremento de la actividad transportista, cada vez más compleja gracias a la influencia de los desarrollos tecnológicos, ha impuesto nuevos retos a su regulación, que en el ámbito internacional ha sido objeto de importantes avances, lo cual las dificultades de toda índole continúan a la orden del día. El presente trabajo trata como tema básico el transporte multimodal, su situación en el mundo contemporáneo, cómo se desarrolla en Cuba, cuáles son sus fortalezas, qué causas lo debilitan, visto en el caso muy particular de la provincia de Villa Clara, donde la UEB Transcontenedores, ofrece este servicio, tratando de hacerlo de la forma más eficiente. Pero en la actualidad se presentan dificultades, las cuales se reflejan en deficiencias en la planificación de las transportaciones que influyen en la incorrecta toma de decisiones a partir de la elaboración del balance de cargas. Como principal resultado se obtuvo la integración de la planificación anual con la mensual a su vez con la diaria.
